Men United Peterhead is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation, whose vision is:
“to promote and protect the mental health and wellbeing of men who are experiencing issues that are having a detrimental affect on their mental health and wellbeing by the provision of support and practical advice.”
This vision is simplified with the following mission statement: we are men united, stepping together from beneath the clouds of hopelessness towards futures filled with hope.
Men United Peterhead is a charity in Peterhead, Scotland, that has been established to challenge the stigma that surrounds men’s mental health and positively impact on the devastating consequences of poor emotional and mental health. The organisations achieves its aims in the following three ways:
i) Peer Support Groups ii) Mentoring iii) Motivational workshops and event speaking

Poor mental health has terminal consequences. The suicide statistics amongst men are tragic, ever growing and desperately need reversing. To play our part in challenging the status quo we have established the following (non exhaustive) list of initiatives:
– weekly peer support groups (in person/ virtually)
– social networking opportunities for men to stay connected
– a mentoring programme to place volunteers alongside men who are going through a tough time
– workshops based on our HEX Model

WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE MORE CONFIDENCE TO TALK ABOUT SUICIDE?
We are offering two free training sessions with Beth Wallace, Aberdeenshire Suicide Prevention Community Engagement Officer.
These sessions are open to ALL, but booking is required

I wish I could get some back I would definitely be a better father and husband
I have made a decision to never reproduce on this planet. No more children should have to be born and suffer. It was never necessary.
It’s NOT always like this….be grateful for the TIME you have with your child….
Great example of life cycle!
I’m well aware
I don’t like this image, it doesn’t always work out this way. My daughter was diagnosed with the rarest and most aggressive brain cancer at just five years old. Time left isn’t measured in age and it should be enjoyed and respected by all x
Its not always certain that old will die first and the young will die only when they grow old it would be easy to judge when one would die if it was so
Lots of children are pushed to grow up to fast. Let tgem be children.. mistakes of a lifetime
The leaning tree is not always the first to fall.
So very true - you never know how long you have on this earth - you never know when you will lose a loved one, cherish whatever time you have left with family, friends, partners, children, grandchildren as it can all be taken away in the blink of an eye. Growing old is a privilege than so many never get the chance to experience whether through acts of violence, disease or their mental health. Life is too short for grudges.
Beautiful. Love both my dad and son. Very grateful to me in the middle. Time is so precious! 💙
Listen to the song"Gods unchanging Hand" today and be blessed...
Once time has passed, it’s gone. It can never come back. So to anyone who reads this, please live a meaningful life, before you know it you may be wishing you did things differently. Live, don’t just exist
Some times it's the other way around. We must be tender and wise with our love and time. We never know who will go 1st. And be sure to seek God/ Jesus, before the end.
This last week made me understand this more then ever. Love your family and hold your grand baby’s like it’s the last time , it may be. ❤️❤️🩹
So very true💙
Our hourglasses are all opaque and you can not see how much sand is left. Once they start to become clear then you realize how precious life is.
I wish I know about time years back when I was young so I'd have spent so much more time with gran and grandad and tessie. It's only when your older and there gone unrealise time ⏲️ our time is everything not material things. Time is key.
Well done. Wisdom is underrated.
It's time for the man to walk with hands.
Tomorrow belongs to nobody
Is time precious? Try so hard to live but the answer is dying.
Great visual
It speaks all,
Reverse the hourglasses. That’s when you REALLY appreciate time. ☹️
